   Mission Statement

    The mission of A BETTER LIFE is to empower our
    community members who have developmental dis-
    abilities, and their families, by providing information
    and helping to secure resources that are tailored to
    their needs. We will work to expand freedom of choice,
    enhance quality of life, and preserve dignity. We will
    strive to help all those who wish to remain in our
    community,to do so.
 

   Organizational Profile

     A BETTER LIFE is a grass roots organization of parents
    who want to develop quality,consistent,long-term support,
    both informational and financial, for families of children
    and adults with disabilities in our community. A Better Life
    was incorporated in Illinois in March 1998.

It's Very Important To Sign up for PUNS!

    PUNS (Prioritization of Urgency of Need for Services) is a means of documenting the needs
    of our family members with disabilities, now and in the future, in the State of Illinois - holding
    the State of Illinois accountable.
